Hebron, Indiana is a city located in Boone Township, Porter County, in the United States. It is situated 56 miles south-southeast of The Loop in downtown Chicago, Illinois. This makes Hebron one of the best places to live in Indiana, near Chicago. It is close to two major work centers and is a daily distance from Chicago, the second largest business market in the U.
S.Hebron is located 20 miles south of the industrial supercomplex along the shore of Lake Indiana-Lake Michigan. There are many jobs here in the main manufacturing, steel and logistics industries. The northern part of Porter County is located along the shores of Lake Michigan and includes the great dunes of National Lakeshore and many industrial sites, such as the Indiana International Port.
